Following the success of its inaugural edition last year, the Dassault Systèmes Digital Engineering Symposium returns this year with events in both Melbourne and Canberra. Sovereign capability isn't delivered once — it has to be engineered mission-ready, then sustained and modernised across decades of service.

As Australia advances AUKUS, sovereign industrial capability programs and the Digital Engineering Strategy, defence organisations are adopting new approaches to manage rising complexity across land, maritime and joint capabilities. Model-based systems engineering, sovereign AI and virtual twins are linking mission engineering to digital sustainment through a continuous thread — an unbroken flow of data across the lifecycle that enables faster innovation in defence programs.

This symposium brings together senior leaders from the Department of Defence, government, defence primes, industry, academia and the wider supply chain. Through presentations, panels and open dialogue, participants will explore how emerging technologies and new engineering approaches can strengthen Australia's future defence capability.

Why Attend?

  • Hear from senior leaders across Defence, government and industry
  • Discover the latest technology advancements in digital engineering and sovereign AI
  • Join keynote presentations, panel discussions and technical breakout sessions
  • Network with Australia's defence engineering community
