This conference featured new research and case studies that pushed the boundaries of simulation, now united with artificial intelligence promising new paths towards personalized healthcare. Innovations spanned the entire lifecycle of healthcare, from reconstructing the pathophysiology of a patient and imagining a solution to optimizing treatment in a virtual population and continued all the way through the clinical trial and regulatory process … ultimately delivering simulation guided precision medicine.

This was a landmark event for a field that was virtually unknown until a few years ago, adding the inaugural foundations for the Living Eye & Kidney projects with updates on the Brain and Liver. More importantly, it was a showcase for what is possible when experts across multiple disciplines come together and show the world what is possible.
