Dr Emma Kowalczuk

Dr Emma Kowalczuk
Dr Emma Kowalczuk has been with Jaguar Land Rover since 2015 and is a business leader developing Electromagnetic (EM) CAE capability in the company. She is experienced in applying EM simulation techniques to investigate automotive Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and antenna installation performance. She has a particular interest in virtual test drive for cellular and V2X antennas to assess their coverage and optimise customer connectivity.
She received her M.Eng and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, where she researched photoconductive microwave switches for use in reconfigurable RF applications. She also worked as an electromagnetic application engineer for CST, presenting and publishing the benefits of EM Simulation for a wide range of industrial and academic areas.

Alistair Wingfield

Alistair Wingfield
Dr. Alistair Wingfield completed his PhD in the field of electromagnetics in 2003 specialising in miniaturised antennas for Hi Tech applications. He spent 16 years in the Hi Tech and A&D industry working on Electromagnetic related topics. He has around 25 international publications and won 2 major international awards for his work in the High tech industry, as well as high national recognition within the A&D industry. He joined DASSAULT SYSTEMES 8 years ago through the acquisition of CST and is now the Northern Europe Sales Director for the Direct Channel of SIMULIA.

Sajid Asif

Sajid Asif
Sajid Asif, an Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systemes, leads SIMULIA EuroNorth's technical sales engagements, specializing in Electromagnetics technology across multiple industries. Previously, as an Antenna Engineer, he focused on designing, developing, and testing passive RF/microwave circuits and phased array antennas for Satcom and terrestrial applications. Alongside his industry work, he served as a Researcher and Lecturer at various academic institutions. Besides his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees, Dr. Asif also holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University, USA. He is a member of IET and holds senior membership in IEEE.

Padmeya Prashant Indurkar

Padmeya Prashant Indurkar
Dr. Padmeya P. Indurkar is a Modelling and Simulation Industry Consultant at Dassault Systèmes. Padmeya’s current role is aimed at transforming clients’ product development workflows by enabling simulation-driven design through advanced capabilities such as generative design, parametric and topology optimisation, additive manufacturing, and ML/AI-driven modelling for a range of industries, from automotive to aerospace, and from energy to life sciences. His recent work focuses on multi-physics simulation-driven battery engineering for cells, modules and packs through integration of CAD and emerging electro-chemo-mechanics CAE capabilities. Prior to this, Padmeya worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge on computational fracture mechanics and developed data-driven deep learning techniques for lattice architected materials. Padmeya holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) where he developed numerical methods for modelling microstructure informed plasticity and damage in emerging lightweight metallic alloys. Research conducted by Padmeya has been published in leading computational engineering journals and conferences worldwide.

- Worked as Lead Engineer at Wipro Technologies, Bangalore, India (2006 – 2010)
- M. Sc. in Vehicle Dynamics (Coventry University, UK)
- Joined Simulia / Simpack at DASSAULT SYSTEMES in 2012
- Currently working as Senior Technical Manager for MultiPhysics including Multibody Dynamics, Electromagnetics and Vibro Acoustics

Mauro Caresta

Mauro Caresta
Mauro Caresta is as a vibro-acoustics solutions consultant working with the wave6 software.
He has a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome followed by a PhD at the University of New South Wales in Australia. His PhD and postdoc focused on vibro-acoustics and attenuation methods for submarines. After a postdoc on NDT for nuclear fuel assemblies, he spent two years as a research associate at the University of Cambridge investigating shock propagation in drilling tools. Before joining Dassault Systèmes, he worked for Schlumberger on several projects related to shock, vibrations, dynamics, reliability and condition monitoring.

David Binder-Hirschberger
David Binder-Hirschberger is a SIMULIA Industry Process Expert; he has a background in mechanical engineering, simulation and optimization.
Being with SIMULIA he is focused on supporting virtual twin customer engagements bringing together modeling and simulation on the 3DEXPERIENE platform.
