Dr. Nour joined Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal as a Post-Doctoral fellow and research associate from 2004 to 2007.  He joined Hydro-Québec in 2007, and now is a senior engineer at this company and a team leader of the structural analysis team. Dr. Nour was involved in the design and the assessment of several strategic facilities, including the Gentilly 2 Nuclear Power Plant, several dams, and Power Houses.  Dr. Nour has been a user of Abaqus since 2004.

Xuwen Li is a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University, under the supervision of Prof. Damiano Pasini and Prof. Mathias Legrand. Her research focuses on the elastic response of periodic plates and shells, in particular origami metamaterials.

Réjean Belliveau is a Mechanical Engineer and Simulation Engineer with expertise in structural and fluid dynamics analysis. Over the past five years, he has applied FEA and CFD technologies to solve a variety of engineering challenges, ranging from highly dynamic flow problems to thermal management applications. His background in composite materials and technical publishing complements his passion for leveraging simulation to drive informed engineering decisions.

Will has been with SIMULIA for nearly 25 years, in a variety of technical and sales roles. He has trained, supported, mentored and consulted with customers across many industries in Canada, the US and UK to help them address their simulation challenges and leverage the power of SIMULIA technology. Will holds Batchelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Alain is the Worldwide Technical Sales Director for Fluids at Dassault Systèmes. He joined Dassault Systèmes through the acquisition of Exa Corporation, where he spent 17 years (2000–2017) in various roles, progressing from Application Engineer to Managing Director, leading the Technical Team for Ground Transportation across Europe and India.

Before his time at Exa, Alain worked for four years at Bombardier’s Industrial Division as a Test Engineer, focusing on snow grooming and off-road tracked vehicles. He holds a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada.

Dipesh Shah is the North America IPC Director for the Modeling and Simulation technical team, with a strong focus on simulation-driven design. He has been with Dassault Systemes for over 14 years, helping customers solve complex engineering problems.

Dipesh began his career in the automotive industry, working with both OEMs and suppliers, where he specialized in explicit finite element analysis for vehicle safety applications. He then worked for Sikorsky helicopters for aircraft validation. He later joined Dassault Systemes as an Application Engineer, delivering Abaqus training and supporting customers in developing advanced simulation workflows. In recent years, he has been actively involved in initiatives related to additive manufacturing and topology optimization, driving innovation in simulation-led product development.

Dipesh holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Solid Mechanics from Bradley University.

Arsen Tonoyan is a Senior Sales Expert at Dassault Systèmes with deep SIMULIA expertise and a track record of partnering with industry leaders such as Apple, Medtronic, Shell, and Tesla, to name a few. After starting as a SIMULIA Application Engineer in 2000, he has guided customers from consulting to full scale production deployments across High Tech, Life Sciences, Energy, Aerospace & Defense, and more. Arsen holds degrees in Applied Mathematics & Engineering Mechanics, a Master’s in Earthquake Engineering, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
