I am a chartered engineer and systems thinker, motivated by the potential for disruptive technologies to address global challenges. As systems engineering group leader at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, I oversee systems engineering activities across a diverse portfolio — from supporting the development of the STEP fusion power plant, to large-scale decommissioning of the JET facility, to complex R&D programmes. I am also a visiting fellow in systems engineering at Loughborough University and an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), with a focus on bridging cutting-edge research and practical application.

Colin Bach is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) with extensive experience driving technology-based transformation in complex, multidisciplinary environments. Currently an Industry Business Consultant at Dassault Systèmes, Colin brings over two decades of expertise in engineering, digital transformation, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). His career spans major contributions to advanced engineering and critical infrastructure projects, underpinned by a strong commitment to advancing best practices in model-based, collaborative engineering.

Colin holds a BEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton, with further specialist training from The Defence Academy, Cranfield University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is recognised for his thought leadership and enthusiasm for leveraging digital solutions to make engineering safer, more efficient, and sustainable. At Dassault Systèmes, Colin supports organisations to transform using digital engineering and MBSE, leading major change programmes, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Aneela Nasim leads the Infrastructure, Energy, and Materials industries in UK & Ireland for Dassault Systèmes. Her focus is on leading digital transformation with her clients as they drive the energy transition through their workforce, the products & services they create, and as they rethink their business models. Aneela brings 20+ years' experience across multiple industries (Infrastructure, Energy, and Materials, Automotive, Public Sector, and Consumer Goods) and disciplines including strategic business consulting, supply chain management, and product lifecycle management.

Aston has supported Digital Transformation programmes across multiple industries for more than a decade. Since 2022, he has supported Fusion and SMR clients at Dassault Systèmes to accelerate the delivery of new nuclear technologies from concept design to operations.
