Bernard CHARLÈS

Bernard CHARLÈS
Bernard CHARLÈS has been working as the CEO of Dassault Systèmes since 1995 and as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer since 2016. He started his career in the company in 1983 to develop new design technologies. In 1986, he founded a dedicated New Technologies, Research and Strategy department, and in 1988 was appointed President of Strategy, Research and Development.
CHARLÈS has helped instill a culture of ongoing innovation to further consolidate Dassault Systèmes’ scientific capabilities and make science part of the company’s DNA. The inspiration behind digital mock-up, product lifecycle management and 3DEXPERIENCE®, he firmly believes that virtual technology is about making possible the impossible: 3DEXPERIENCE universes are the most powerful vehicle for testing concepts and creating the future, bringing dream and reality together, and stretching the limits of science and imagination to drive progress in society.

The company, established in 1981 and world leader in virtual worlds, was recognized as one of Forbes’ "World’s Most Innovative Companies".Bernard CHARLÈS is a foreign member of the US National Academy of engineering and a member of the French Academy of Technology.
He holds the rank of Commander in the “Légion d’honneur” (French Legion of Honor). He is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure engineering school in Cachan and has a PhD in mechanical engineering majoring in automation engineering and information science. He also holds an agrégation — the most senior teaching qualification achievable in France (specializing in mechanical engineering).

Florence VERZELEN

Florence VERZELEN
Before this latest appointment, Florence was working at Engie, a world leader in the energy sector – holding different positions, as Business Development Vice President, Engie Qatar CEO, Performance Plan Vice President and finally Engie Europe COO. Florence has an extensive experience in both public and private sector, having held different positions in the European Commission and the French Administration.
She is also an experienced board member, with board position at PSA and currently at Air France; CNES, the French Space Agency and Institut Montaigne, the leading think tank in France. Florence is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique / Corps des Mines.

Ralph SMITH

Ralph SMITH
Ralph SMITH commenced his career in the mining sector, initially working in geospatial engineering before moving into mining engineering. He is passionate about the need and benefits of business transformation, creating value and solving industry challenges. While the industry focuses on change, he has contributed to transformation for over 25 years.
During his professional career, he has worked on diverse projects, from 100kt to 30Mt production objectives across a range of commodities e.g. gold; copper; lead; zinc; silver; uranium; nickel; iron ore, talc; rare earths; and mineral sands around the globe.
He saw Dassault Systemes as the company with an established record of achieving business transformation in various industries, joining to lead the mining and infrastructure services globally and deliver value and facilitate positive change.

Tubagus NUGRAHA

Tubagus NUGRAHA
Born in Bandung on August 18, 1972, he graduated from the Mining Engineering Department at Institute of Technology Bandung (1997), then earned his master's degree in Local Politics and Regional Autonomy at Gadjah Mada University (2003). He currently serves as Assistant Deputy for Mining at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment. He started his career as a Sales Engineer at PT United Tractors and then as Mine Engineer at Bina Mining ITB, before serving as a civil servant by joining the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Office for West Java Provinces.

Tonny GULTOM

Tonny GULTOM
Tonny Gultom has more than thirty years of experience in mining (copper, gold, bauxite, nickel, coal) & refinery industries such as alumina, pyrometallurgy (RKEF), and Hydrometallurgy (HPAL) with the main task in project development, management and operation. He has also been conducting IFC Performance Standards and ESG (Environmental, Social and Good Governance) since 2015.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and a Graduate Degree in Hydrology from Gajah Mada University Yogyakarta, he continued his studies to earn a Post Graduate Degree in Hydrology Engineering from UNESCO-IHE, Delft The Netherlands as well as a Master in Financial Management from AWU, IOWA USA. Additionally, he has obtained his Engineer Professional title from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Prior to joining Harita Nickel Group, his professional experience in mining companies include BHP Biliton Indonesia, Newmont Pacific Nusantara, and Newmont Nusa Tenggara.

Spencer PAOH (Moderator)

Spencer PAOH (Moderator)
Spencer Paoh is a profesional with strong background in Government Relations, Corporate Communications, and Mining. He earned his Bachelor of Mining from Trisakti University Jakarta, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He spent 19 years of his career in Freeport Indonesia, leaving his last post as Manager of Government Relations. He then work for Gunung Raja Paksi, before joining Orica Mining Services, a company specializing in explosives, blasting systems, as well as mining chemicals and geotechnical monitoring.
