Optional Workshop (13 Oct)

Discover the Future of Model-Based Systems Engineering: An Introduction to SysML v2 - Fully Booked

PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand, all available spaces for the hands-on SysML v2 Workshop are now fully allocated.

Step into the next generation of systems engineering with our hands-on SysML v2 Workshop.

Since 2006, SysML has been a cornerstone of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). While version 1.7 remains a powerful tool, it has long faced limitations in addressing the full complexity of modern system architectures. Enter SysML v2—a bold reimagining of the language, designed to overcome those limitations and revolutionize the way engineers build, communicate, and manage system models.

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Be introduced to the SysML v2 standard and its core principles
  • Learn how to build a simple product architecture using the MagicGrid methodology and the CATIA Magic toolset
  • Work with both graphical and textual notations of SysML v2
  • Explore key differences between SysML v1 and v2, and understand when to use each

Whether you're a systems engineer, architect, or MBSE enthusiast, this session will equip you with the knowledge to start modeling effectively in SysML v2—and confidently navigate the transition from v1.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to:

  • Create a basic SysML v2 architecture model
  • Understand the benefits and new capabilities of SysML v2
  • Decide when and how to use SysML v2 versus SysML v1

Join us to gain practical skills and stay ahead in the evolving world of MBSE.
