Mike van Diest
Dr. ir. Mike van Diest is MBSE Excellence Leader at Philips, where he drives the adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering across the organization. His work focuses on shifting engineering practices from document-centric to data-centric approaches, enabling integrated, model-based development for complex medical and consumer health products.
Mike holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and is a certified DFSS Black Belt. He joined Philips in 2015, building his background in product development and systems engineering before moving into his current enterprise-wide role.
Today, Mike combines strategic direction with hands-on implementation to accelerate the transition to digital engineering in a regulated, high-complexity environment.

Gregor Höpfner is Managing Director and Co-Founder of seek Systems Engineering. As spin off from the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering of RWTH Aachen, seek is bringing MBSE methods and tools from research to industry and developing methods to make AI reliable and hallucination free based on the formalized data from MBSE. Gregor has been at RWTH Aachen for 5 years as a scientist in MBSE and 3 years as a research group lead. In his roles he collaborates closely with different industry in applying MBSE, such as automotive, high tech, plant engineering, and aerospace.

His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of domains, from steel structure design to comprehensive product management to Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Over the past decade, Matti has played a pivotal role in guiding companies across various sectors in embracing MBSE methodologies within the broader framework including product portfolio management and governance. In his current capacity, Matti serves as the manager of the MBSE Domain Expert team at Dassault Systèmes EuroNorth, where he continues to lead the charge in driving innovation and excellence within the realm of MBSE.

With a background in Computing and Electronics from Birmingham City University, Joseph's global experience spans high-speed rail and renewable energy projects. Committed to excellence, he is helping shape the future of systems engineering by leveraging a rich perspective gained from diverse sectors and projects worldwide.

René Willems is a senior Process Consultant and Digital Transformation professional at Dassault Systèmes, where he helps organizations leverage model-based approaches, digital engineering, and lifecycle management technologies to accelerate innovation and improve business performance.
With a background in engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), René has spent over 30 years working with industrial organizations across a variety of sectors, supporting their transformation toward data-driven and model-based ways of working.
His expertise spans PLM, digital continuity, requirements management, systems engineering, and the integration of engineering disciplines across the product lifecycle.

In his current position he is looking after High Tech accounts for Dassault Systèmes in the Benelux and the Nordics like ASML, Philips, NOKIA and Ericsson.

Smriti received her Doctoral (Ph.D) degree in Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnolgy from INP Grenoble (France) in 2013. She joined Dassault Systèmes in Velizy, France on the High Tech Team in December 2022.

Parham Nayebifard
Parham started his career in 2008 as a harness designer within the aerospace and defence industry, later moving into methods and end-to-end processes for avionics and harness design, from requirements to manufacturing documentation.
He then worked as a business analyst before joining Dassault Systèmes in 2017, where he now works with all electrical applications end-to-end, focusing on guiding customers in deploying and evolving electrical solutions on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, helping them connect design, processes, and tools into a seamless flow.
