How to get to electronica
Get a first impression of the electronica exhibition grounds.
You will find us in Hall A3, Booth 461.
Access
By public transportation
Messe München and the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München are directly connected to Munich’s public transportation system.
The trade-fair grounds are located directly next to the two subway (U-Bahn) stops Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost of the line U2. For events at the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München, please exit at the stop Messestadt West.
From Munich Central Station, you can reach the exhibition center in about 20 minutes without changing trains. Tickets can be purchased from Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG), Münchner Verkehrsverbund (MVV) and Deutsche Bahn (DB) (tariff zone M).
Please note: The Print@home Ticket does not entitle holders to the free use of public transportation operated by MVG, MVV or DB.
By suburban train (S-Bahn) and bus
Trade-fair participants can also take the suburban train (S-Bahn) coming from Munich (city center) or Erding:
- Take the S-Bahn line 2 and step out in Riem,
- change to bus line 190 headed to Messestadt Ost,
- then finally step out at the bus stop Am Messesee for Entrance West or at the bus stop Messestadt Ost for Entrance East.
By car
The Messe München fairgrounds are located directly next to the A94 freeway. Signage on the freeway will guide you to the appropriate Messe München parking areas, where a dynamic traffic control system regulates the traffic flow. It will direct you to the nearest available parking spaces during the event.
Parking spaces & Parking fees
Marked parking spaces are available for visitors. Parking costs 14 euros/day in the outdoor car park and 17 euros/day in the multi-storey car park.
By train
From almost anywhere in Europe you can travel comfortably, safely and in an environmentally friendly manner by train to Munich Central Station. From here, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the trade-fair center by taking the U2 subway line headed to Messestadt Ost. If you prefer to travel by rental car or taxi, please add at least 25 minutes to your journey time.
