Samson KHAOU serves as Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific at Dassault Systèmes, where he is responsible for driving the region’s overall growth and performance. He leads the development of business strategies that align with market opportunities and supports the company’s mission to enable digital transformation and foster growth in key countries and sectors across Asia Pacific.

Before assuming this role, Mr. KHAOU held several leadership positions within the company. He was Managing Director for India from 2016 to 2019, Managing Director for the Asia Pacific South region from 2011 to 2016, Managing Director for Industry Services in Europe from 2008 to 2010, and Managing Director for Korea from 2006 to 2007. He joined Dassault Systèmes in 1989 as an R&D engineer and has since held numerous key management roles in both Europe and Asia.

Mr. KHAOU holds Master’s degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering.

Dr. Gan WANG spent almost three decades in the aerospace and defense industry where he started as a programmer and control systems engineer, and later turned into a systems engineer. His current areas of interest span MBSE, Digital Engineering (DE), systems engineering lifecycle processes, architecture, cost estimating and analysis, and decision support methods.

Dr. Garrett THURSTON leads the Digital Transformation and Strategy Services Architecture competencies at Dassault Systèmes. With extensive experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and engineered resilient systems, Garrett has made significant contributions to the team’s positioning of future vertical lift (FVL) technologies. He has worked closely with numerous Aerospace & Defense (A&D) initiatives at Dassault Systèmes, helping clients maximize the value of their investments while accelerating their time to value.

Before joining Dassault Systèmes, Garrett built and managed the Aerospace, Defense, and Security division at Foliage, a Boston-based product consulting and development firm that was later acquired by Altran. During his tenure, he directed projects for major clients such as Boeing and Rolls-Royce, including the Boeing 787 systems, Rolls-Royce's large and small engine initiatives, and the power distribution system software for the X-47B and RATTLRS programs. Other projects included the Counter-Suicide Bomber Detection System, avionics development, a STANAG-4586 Compliant Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Control System, and laser safety systems for air vehicles.

Garrett has also held key roles at various Aerospace and Defense contractors, where he managed budgets, schedules, and teams while overseeing a wide range of research, development, and manufacturing technology programs for agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Air Force (USAF), NASA, the Office of Naval Research (ONR), and DARPA.

Andrew BONICA is a multi-disciplinary engineer and Marine Corps Veteran with over two decades of experience in Aerospace & Defense. As a Senior Technical Executive at Dassault Systèmes, he is passionate about product design, model-based engineering, and moving the engineering world forward towards more efficient practices through digital transformation.

Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, BONICA was a DoD Civilian Systems Engineer at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (formerly SPAWAR) where he pioneered the Model-Based Enterprise engineering method and brought advanced & additive manufacturing into mainstream use.

Brent FILLERY, SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant, Senior Specialist, is currently part of the AP South team leading SIMULIA engagements within South East Asia and Australia. He has a background in structural mechanics, with a specific focus on fatigue and fracture, and extensive experience with process automation and robust design workflow implementation. Prior to returning to Australia in 2019, he lead structural analysis teams associated with aero and industry gas turbine development programs. During this period he contributed to the development of hardware and technology spanning Fan, Compressor, Combustor and Turbine sub-systems including entry into service and test vehicle platforms. Here he gained first hand knowledge in topics such as whole engine and component level thermo-mechanical modelling, rotatives engineering, airfoil structural dynamics and rotor-dynamics.

Robert Ong is an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional with extensive experience as an MBSE adoption consultant since 2004. He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Assumption University, Thailand.

Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, Robert worked at O-Matic Solution as an ALM Consultant specializing in Borland ALM solutions, and later at No Magic Inc. He is currently a CATIA Cyber Systems Industry Process Consultant for the Asia region at Dassault Systèmes, where he supports clients in adopting advanced systems engineering practices.

In addition to his professional role, Robert is actively involved with INCOSE. Since 2020, he has served as an Industry Outreach Ambassador for the Asia region and was appointed President-Elect of the INCOSE Singapore Chapter in 2023.

An MBSE, SysML, & CATIA Magic/Cameo Champion, also a Research & Development professional, has over 15 years of experience as a Java and C software engineer, MBSE consultant, and solution architect, contributing to various corporate and government projects. His expertise spans Document Management Systems, Data Dictionaries, BPM, ERP, and Business Intelligence. Currently, he focuses on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Certified in OMG Systems Modeling Language (SysML), CESAMES Associate, and INCOSE CSEP, he actively publishes academic papers in AI/ML and Systems Engineering, which have been presented at IEEE, ACM, and INCOSE conferences. He has received awards from prestigious international innovation competitions such as ENVEX, ITEX, i-Inova, and NRIC.

Dr. Quoc Do is a ONE KBR Technical Fellow, Principal Consultant at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, and Systems Engineering Director, Submarine Rotational Force West – Priority Works. He was the Technical Governance Manager of the Submarine Systems Engineering executive directorate within Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG). He is an expert in digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, defence architecture frameworks, governance, and assurance.

He is a Fellow (FIEAust) and Chartered Systems Engineer (CPEng) of Engineers Australia and is well respected within the defence and commercial sectors. He is also a nationally and internationally recognised systems engineering leader, qualified as a DSS (Defence Support Service) Level 5 Pre-eminent Consultant in three categories (Systems Engineering, Capability Definition Documentation, and Systems Architecture and Integration), and inducted by the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Leadership Institute.

Dr. Do has made significant contributions to the systems engineering profession through various leadership roles, including current Asia-Oceania Sector Director of INCOSE, past president of the INCOSE Australia Chapter, past president of the Systems Engineering Society of Australia (SESA), former Associated Director for Technical Review of INCOSE, and founding Chair of the INCOSE international Model-Based Conceptual Design (MBCD) Working Group.

Sam brings over 25 years of experience as a cyber systems expert, with expertise spanning digital engineering, complex systems development, aerospace and defence, software engineering, and technology portfolio management. As a leading practitioner of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and an enterprise architect, he helps clients adopt industry standards and best practices to deliver sustainable advantages across diverse sectors.

Sam has deep knowledge of MBSE standards—including SysML, UML, ArchiMate, and UAF—and has contributed to the development of these globally recognized frameworks. Since 2005, he has collaborated with industry leaders to design and implement innovative products and services leveraging these technologies.

​Chris Olorenshaw serves as a Senior Systems Engineer at the Australian Missile Corporation (AMC), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing Australia's defense capabilities. His dedication and expertise were recognized in 2023 when he was honored with the Young Achiever of the Year award by the Australian Industry & Defence Network Victoria (AIDN VIC). Prior to his tenure at AMC, Chris contributed significantly to the defense sector through his work at QinetiQ Australia, focusing on capability assurance for Australian and allied defense forces. His commitment to engineering excellence was also acknowledged when he was named a finalist for Engineer of the Year at the Australian Defence Industry Awards. ​

Grant Parratt is responsible for the systems engineering capability at BAE Systems Australia. He plays a leading role managing systems engineering across the dimensions of people, processes and tools in support of BAE Systems diverse project portfolio.

He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), and Engineering Executive (EngExec), and he is registered on the National Engineering Register (NER).

Tom Davis is a Systems Engineering Manager at BAE Systems Australia where he is responsible for the development and evolution of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and capabilities. With demonstrable experience in the customisation and extension of industry-leading MBSE tools, including Cameo Systems Modeler, Tom oversees BAE Systems’ proprietary toolkits and extensions to deliver efficient and effective systems modelling. Widely regarded as an authority in the application of MBSE in high frequency surveillance systems, Tom consults internally within the organisation on a range of projects. Prior to his role at BAE Systems, Tom was responsible for the establishment of MBSE tooling and configuration at Lockheed Martin under the SEA4000 Future Submarine Program.
