Cornel Stefan Manole is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of OCMEE Design LLC, an engineering design consultancy in Irvine, California. He brings 15 years of automotive engineering experience from Renault Dacia (via Segula), Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Lotus, Rivian and Karma Automotive, and specializes in CATIA V5 and
3DEXPERIENCE parametric design.
He developed Knowledge-Activated Design (KAD), a methodology that embeds engineering rules directly into parametric CATIA models so designs update correctly when requirements change.
His IEEE Access paper, "Knowledge-Activated Design: A Parametric Methodology for Automotive Park Distance Control Sensor Integration" (2026, DOI 10.1109/ACCESS.2026.3735368), is the first peer-reviewed publication of the method. A second paper, "Keeping the reasoning with the geometry: rules, reactions and checks in production automotive CAD", is under review at Springer Nature's Discover Applied Sciences (preprint on Research Square).
Cornel is a Dassault Systèmes CATIA Champion, a named inventor on two patent filings, and an SAE, IEEE and ASME Professional Member. He holds BSc and MSc degrees from the University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Systèmes CATIA platform, Art focuses on process automation, environment deployment, and CAD
utilities designed to optimize designer productivity.
